HEEL PAIN SURGERY: BONE SPUR REMOVAL vs EPF?

Surgery viagra for heel pain is commonly associated with the removal of bone spurs. Quite the contrary, as we do not typically remove any bones spurs when focusing on heel pain on the bottom of the foot. In fact, the most common procedure we offer for this type of heel pain is the Endoscopic Plantar Fasciiotomy (EPF). Through two small incisions and with the use of a small camera and endoscope, we are able to reduce the tension in the problematic tissues. By releasing a portion of the fibers in the plantar fascia, the inflammation associated with the heel reduces dramatically.

HEEL PAIN SURGERY: BONE SPUR REMOVAL & THE tamoxifen cost ACHILLES TENDON

For those patients suffering from Achilles Tendonitis and pain at the back of the heel, now we start to consider removing prominent bones spurs! In some cases we can perform a similar procedure to the EPF and release tight tissue fibers in the back of the prednisone leg, however, a majority of the time when the pain is located in the back of the heel, it is indeed associated with a bone spur. All scar tissue is removed from the Achilles Tendon attachment on the back of the heel and any prominent bone spurs are removed. The Achilles Tendon is secured to the back of the heel with small bone anchors. Compared to the above EPF procedure for plantar heel pain, the surgery for Achilles Tendon heel pain is considerably more involved.
